In addition to my work in the field, my research projects all have significant laboratory components. In much of my research, I use non-invasively collected urine and fecal samples to measure hormones and other biological markers with radioiummuoassays (RIA) and enzymeimmunoassays (EIA) in a variety of species. I also conduct genetic analyses associated with demographic information, gut microbial ecology, and pathogen detection.
